This is more noticed by the gloves she wears often, which is more of a psychological, placebo effect for her in most cases.The most prominent ability the reality—altering witch possesses is multiversal travel on a great scale, able to jump in several realities and dimensions without the risk of causing an incursion or destruction on the worlds she lands on.Currently, and though it pains her heavily, Natalia left her family behind and no longer resides in futuristic Earth—928B for reasons unknown*. She often travels between multiple earths across the cosmos, taking up semi—permanent residence in two different universes and alternating between the both. She will often answer the calls of those who know of the Scarlet Witch of 2099, stopping incursions and anomalies from disrupting the timeline of other universes.She can be witty, wry, and sarcastic if the moment appropriately calls for it, never wanting to let herself get pushed around unfairly. She cannot hypnotise people through illusion despite being able to cast them, which poses a challenge for the witch at times.. · ✧ Psionics: With a variety of psychic abilities, Natalia can project energy blasts, force fields, streams, waves and bolts of her own psionic and telekinetic energy. This energy is often manifested visibly though a signature crimson colour and can enable her to generate force—fields that can be broken down once focus is lost. This has helped her in hand—to—hand combat in where she infused her psionics within her fighting style. Disintegration of objects and people through psionic assault is possible with other Scarlet Witches but not achieved with Natalia in her current form.. · ✧ Levitation: Natalia, in theory, is able to move through the air and simulate flight by expelling psionic energy through her hands and propelling herself in the air. In practice, she is awful at it and 𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 to do it.. · ✧ Tactile Telepathic Touch: Natalia’s mutation enables her to be able to 𝒇͟𝒆͟𝒆͟𝒍 emotions and / or auras of people, animals, or objects through physical skin contact. If properly honed, she could have the ability to affect and control the emotions of others. This ability is not yet controlled, and the other party can also be susceptible to feeling 𝐡𝐞𝐫 emotions if she is not careful so sensitivity is reduced by lack of physical contact and the gloves she often wears.𝐒͟𝐎͟𝐑͟𝐂͟𝐄͟𝐑͟𝐘. · ᱬ Chaos Magic: Being the myth come alive, the Scarlet Witch is a being capable of spontaneous creation. Natalia can shape and manipulate this magic for different purposes, such as casting spells without incantation or forming constructs of energy and reality. This enables her to also cast runes and spell circles over people, animals, objects, and places. Possession and necromancy of bodies, both dead and alive, are frowned upon but not forbidden. Curses are also a possibility with Natalia, one she does not talk about freely.. · ᱬ Reality Warping: Natalia can warp reality. She can transmute objects by manipulating their atomic structure and altering their forms. Conjuration out of thin air also varies ; it is often done without thinking and usually cannot be done on command. Bending reality to her will and advantage, she believes, is a violation to natural law. However, she’ll sometimes do it without thinking because it’s a very natural ability.. · ᱬ Astral Projection: Natalia is able to project her astral form without losing consciousness of her physical self, thus achieving a dual conscious projection that allows her to perform more or less the same abilities in the universe she inhabits or another. This is mostly used to watch over Earth—928B from time to time.. · ᱬ Multiversal Travel: While most variants of the Scarlet Witch are not able to achieve this power without aid from their patron deity or the Darkhold, Natalia was born with the natural ability to traverse through dimensions and universes without altering important events / realities or causing incursions. Additionally, Natalia can travel within dimensions, such as the Mirror and the Shadow Realm. The latter is mostly used to aid her teleport and move across distances, especially in combat.. · ᱬ Time Manipulation: Within dimensions of her own creation, Natalia can control the passage of time. She cannot / will not learn to do this in the real world.. · ᱬ Weather & Elemental Manipulation: Natalia can manipulate elements, such as fire, for example, through small scale spells. Lighting candles for rituals and meditation is often used for this. Manipulating weather is a different story. When or if the witch is sick or heavily under the influence, for example, be ready for a storm or a hurricane. Natalia is capable of manipulating probability through her hexes that are formed and used to manipulate energy fields / matter to varying degrees, even to disrupt time. This has be done with the utmost focus and concentration as she has to factor in everything that is used to change or enhance the outcome of something. This has only been performed once or twice in her life.. · 𖤐 Zonal Dimension Creation: Natalia has learned how to create pocket dimensions within others; this is most commonly referred by her as the Void, which she houses in the Shadow Realm. Often times, Natalia will not come out of her void for long period of times.. · 𖤐 Dreamwalking: According to the Darkhold, a dreamwalking sorcerer can project or transfer their consciousness into the body of a variant from another universe, possessing the body of an alternate self. The link is not a permanent bond between variants but the risk of irreparable damage the dreamwalker could cause in the universe they invade is always high. Natalia has never done this but it has been done to her once in her life.. · 𖤐 Energy Absorption and Power Bestowal: Natalia has the ability to absorb another person’s magic but can only repel hers to another person/vessel that is strong enough to withstand it. Neither of these two abilities has ever been attempted before. Natalia is aware that she can bestow powers and grant people abilities, either directly or indirectly. This has not yet been demonstrated or learned.. · 𖤐 Life Creation: In theory, Natalia could create living organisms through use of magic and grant them total awareness of their own selves and consciousnesses. Even the slightest physical touch can overstimulate her, especially during an attack. Auras are a very powerful thing and a malevolent being or creature can surely take advantage of her distracted and weakened state this way. If she’s not familiar or comfortable with a person, touch can be overwhelming.. · ✵ Somnambulism: Whether she acknowledges it or not, Natalia is prone to sleepwalking and sometimes suffers episodes of sleep paralysis. Here, this is when she dreams the most and will often find herself engaging in interaction with Chthon, as this is the only way the god can reach her when she is most vulnerable. At times, possession by Chthon is possible but it is hardly malevolent unless he uses her to do his bidding. This is the only time Chthon ever has complete control over his vessels. Natalia's senses are not dialed all the way up and acting as a somnambulist causes her to be unaware and vulnerable to her surroundings.. · ✵ Hallucinogens / Psychedelics: Natalia cannot and will not take any form of drug that 𝐚͟𝐥͟𝐭͟𝐞͟𝐫͟𝐬 her mind in any visual form. Should any of these find themselves in her system, she is often prone to losing control of her abilities, which lead to 𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 actions and consequences. The mind is a powerful thing and though she cannot cast illusions at will most of the time, she can very well cause hallucinations to come alive for others to witness. They often do not attack others, but they do turn against Natalia almost every time.. · ✵ Physical Damage: Though it is theorised that Natalia is ' immortal ' by the Witch's Road, she is not invincible. Death can come at any corner and she is no stranger to injury. Despite using magic to physically augment and enhance her strength and tolerance to pain, Natalia is still susceptible to physical injury and illness. Debilitating enough damage is enough to knock her down several pegs, even kill her potentially.. · ✵ Lack of Proper Healing: Natalia, at present, does not currently possess the ability to magically heal others or herself in the event she is injured. Though physical augmentation aids her in the process, it’s a long one and she does not have the capability nor the motivation to properly learn how to heal.. · ✵ Movement Binding: If her hands and fingers are bound tightly and securely, her motion to spell cast and use most of her abilities overall can be severely affected ; if she cannot move her hands or her arms, she cannot cast.. · ✵ Power Dampeners: Mutants and humans have been at war with each other over time, which has caused humans to advance on technology that led to mutantkind's downfall in the future. Some places require registered mutants to wear these dampeners in the form of wristbands, mouthpieces, ankle bracelets, even collars. Mutants are unable to utilise their abilities and powers should they fall victim to any power dampener device or place that contains them. It stands to reason that Natalia is also highly vulnerable to these as well, whether she is the Scarlet Witch or not.. · ✵ Witches’ Iron: Additionally, fortified cold iron is rumoured to repel witches and / or their abilities. Natalia would be vulnerable to this material, unable to use her abilities and reduced to a weakened state.. · ✵ Telepathic Assault: Though Natalia is incredibly well guarded with her mind and often shields other mind—readers from manipulating her thoughts, she can occasionally slip, especially during intense, emotional moments. For this reason, she must always be cautious when around other telepathic beings.. · ✵ Trauma Suppression: With the above being said, Natalia has not always been dealt a great hand in life. Despite her calm, casual, and easy—going demeanour, Natalia’s powerful enough to suppress her own bad memories at a deep, subconscious level.
